Special meeting!

A meeting in my studio, in a very special way.
I'm taking you into this story.
Social Media is a great medium.
In this case I mean Instagram.
There I follow great interior designers and respond to posts that interest me.
Also in July 2021, quite some time ago now, when I left a comment on an interior design made for a young couple completely unknown to me.
It was noticed by them and they visited my Instafeed and then took a look at my website.
And remember my name ;)
Their renovation takes a lot of time and the time has finally come to style their house.
With art.
I receive a message in October 2022 in which an option is taken on a work of art and an appointment is scheduled.Two days later the introduction is in my studio.It can go that fast, wow! :)

Fortunately, the painting in shades of brown turns out to be just as beautiful as expected.
But the canvas that hangs next to it is also a nice match and choosing is not an option.
They can both go to Amsterdam.
One for the dining area, one for the hall.
Shortly after leaving my studio I receive a message asking if I would like to make another work of art.
A large work of art (100x100 cm) to give as a gift to a company jubilee, in their beloved brown tones.
What an honor!
I go to work in my studio and spend many hours there, to complete this assignment.
When I suddenly get sick due to the intense Corona virus, it seems like I won't succeed.
But then, after 70 plodding studio hours, the canvas appears that makes me happy and I know it's right.
Let's hope that the recipient of the artwork is also pleasantly surprised.
Shortly after the artwork has been offered, I receive a message informing me that the artwork has been well received, so nice!
All this in the last part of 2022.
I couldn't have wished for a better end to the year!
